Admission Policy

Admission Policy

Admission is granted with a definite understanding that the  pupil/student and his/her parent/guardian agree to comply  with the standards of the school. The authorities of the school  reserve the right to treat violations of the rules and regulations  in accordance with the system of discipline and guidance.

Requirements for New Students/Transferees 
A. Pre-school  

  1. Birth Certificate (photocopy-PSA) 
  2. 2 pcs 2×2 pictures 
  3. Evaluation/ Assessment Test 
  4. Report card (Form 138), if any 
  5. Grade School and High school 
  6. Birth Certificate (photocopy- PSA) 
  7. 2 pcs 2×2 pictures 
  8. Evaluation/ Assessment Test 
  9. Certificate of Good Moral Character from  previous school 
  10. Certificate of Ranking for honor students  6. Report Card (Form 138) 

Requirements for Old Students 

  1. Report card (Form 138) 
  2. 2 pcs 2×2 pictures

Rules Concerning Fees
All fees are computed on a school year basis and may be  payable upon registration. Miscellaneous fees be waived for this  current school year 2020-2021. The total tuition fees may be paid on a  monthly basis as shown in the mode of payment schedule which is  available at the Accounting Office and the online confirmation slip.  Payments shall be made either online thru bank transfer, Gcash,  Paymaya or onsite from Monday to Wednesday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Reservation Fee

For new students/transferees 

A reservation fee of P1000 is need to secure a slot. This amount is non-refundable, non-transferrable but deductible from the tuition fee when a student pays upon enrolment.

For students who are already enrolled:

Payment of reservation fee will only be accepted if previous accounts are fully settled. However, this does not automatically translate to automatic admission and promotion to the next level in accordance  with  the school policies and regulations.

 The reservation fee is non-refundable but deductible from  the total tuition fee. It is understood that all transactions regarding  payments of any fees shall be done in the Accounting Office. Only the  School cashier is authorized to issue receipts. Payments and  transactions made without receipts shall not be honored by the  school. 

Discount Privileges 

 Discount on tuition fee may be given under the following  conditions: 

  1. when total fees are paid in full upon registration, 5%  discount on tuition fees 
  2. for siblings who have enrolled at the same time
    1st child – 5% discount on tuition fee only
    2nd child – 8% discount on tuition fee only
    3rd child – 10% discount on tuition fee only
    4th child – 50% discount o tuition fee
    5th child – FREE

Adjustment of Fees due to Withdrawal of Enrollment
1. A student in good standing who desires to withdraw his/her  enrollment with LYCEUM OF CAVITE-EAST (LCE) shall  present/send a letter indicating such to the registrar signed by  his/her parent /guardian. A statement of honorable dismissal  shall be issued upon settlement of all indebtedness to the  school. The statement shall indicate that the student withdrew  in good standing as far as character and conduct is concerned. A  student is considered in good standing if:

a. he/she has no financial or property obligation with the  school,
b. he/she is not under investigations for a violation
c. he/she is not under suspension, exclusion or  expulsion

2. Section 66, Article xiii of the Manual of Regulations for Private  Schools 7th edition of the Bureau of Private Schools which is  quoted below shall govern the refund or adjustment of fees. “Section 66. When a student registers in school, it is understood that he/she is enrolling for the entire school  year.  

 Section 66.i. A student who transfers or withdraws inwriting  within the first week and who has already paid in full or  any length longer than one (1) month may be charged  ten percent (10%) of the total amount due to the term;  Section 66. ii. If he withdraws after the second week of classes, he will be charged twenty percent (20%) regardless of whether or not he has actually  attended classes. 

 Section 66.iii. The student may be charged all the school fees  (100%) in full if he/she withdraws anytime under the third week of classes. However, if he transfers or withdrawal is  due to a justifiable reason, the student may be charged the  pertinent fees up to and including the last month of  attendance.”
